Graphex Group focuses on the development of technology for renewable energy to optimise our scarce natural resources.
Since our inception, we have created environmental award-winning municipal and corporate parks and recreational facilities through our landscape architecture division. We seek to optimise the land banks of our clients, by creating stunning landscapes for their campuses and developments. We are also designing recharge parks for metropolitan urban renewal projects, where vehicles and mobile devices are recharged with renewable energy within an architecturally landscaped setting.
In 2019 we expanded into the renewable energy sector through the acquisition of our Graphene division. Our Graphene division processes raw graphite into purified spherical graphite, used for the anode of electric vehicle Lithium-Ion batteries. The division also develops graphene technology.
Our Graphene division currently produces 10,000 metric tonnes per year of purified spherical graphite at our facility in Heilongjiang Province, China. We have a roadmap to grow our production 40,000 metric tonnes per year over the next 3 years.
Our technology is protected by 23 patents and utility models covering processing equipment, manufacturing techniques and graphene applications. Our manufacturing facility is geographically located near one of the largest graphite mines in the world, providing us with a stable supply of raw graphite, which is our key input material.
The globalization of our industry powers our strategic business development initiatives. We are committed to increasing our role as a local source of purified spherical graphite for electric vehicles within China while expanding our products and technology globally through licensing and partnerships.
Furthermore, we continue to explore options to acquire vertically integrated complementary businesses.
