Dan Nye, CFA started his career as a US Naval Officer on the fast attack submarine USS Springfield (SSN 761). Post-service he led manufacturing operations for semiconductor robotics company Asyst Technologies, growing revenues from $80 to $300 million.
Post-MBA, Dan worked at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant, focused on energy/industrials. He later joined CIM Investment Management as a fund manager, overseeing $1 billion of long only and long/short mandates. His long/short thematic technology fund was ranked top quartile by Prequin. He holds a BSc Engineering from Boston University, a MSc equivalent in Nuclear Engineering from US Navy Nuclear Power School and a MBA (Distinction) from Harvard Business School.
